This facility was etablished on the southern end of Ocean Expo Park as a leading tropical and subtropical arboretum of Japan. The “Sample Gardens”, where nearly 37,500 plants of 320 species of tropical and subtropical plants from every corner of the world are planted and displayed, and the “Greenery Consultant”, which offers advice on cultivation methods for urban forestry, are present in the facility to answer the demands of various people, from common people to experts.
