Song and Dance Shimanasake

Area

A bar owned by Kazuko Shiroma, a singer famous for a popular Okinawan song at karaoke bars, “Shimanasaki”. Renovated and relocated from Gushikawa City’s Sekidou to Okinawa City’s eastern Awase in Autumn 2004, it was reborn as a bar showing songs and traditional dancing. Here’s your chance to see dancing by veteran traditional dancers up-close, as well as great singing from a wide reparatory of songs. Daytime performances are available for groups of 10 or more people (reservation required).Enjoy an at-home feeling in a place reminiscent of an Okinawan house.
