Orion Happy Park

Orion Beer Factory, founded in 1957, is the oldest and largest producer of beer in Okinawa.
When Orion Beer Factory first opened for business, it relied on imports from Germany to supply the necessary ingredients of hops, malt, and brewer’s yeast. The tanks used to make the beer were also built based on German technology.

A trip to Orion Happy Park (located in Nago City, northern Okinawa) can provide visitors with a broad overview of beer, ranging from its history all the way to an actual beer production line.

There is also a tasting venue in the restaurant where visitors can sample up to two glasses of freshly made beer with soft drinks being provided to designated drivers and underage visitors.
